Let’s work together.
Head of Mechanical Engineering
Ommo is the pioneer of permanent magnet–based 3D tracking technology, building a next-generation tracking platform based on magnetic sensing. Our technology enables ultra-precise, real-time 6DOF tracking for millimeter-scale wireless sensors, up to 1,000 times per second with accuracy down to 0.1mm, without line-of-sight constraints. We partner with medical device OEMs and advanced technology companies developing surgical navigation, robotics, simulation, spatial intelligence, and human-machine interface systems.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Mechanical Engineering to lead and take ownership of our product development team. The Head of Mechanical Engineering at Ommo is a highly technical, hands-on engineering leader who drives the mechanical architecture, precision design, and productization of our core technology. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solving complex mechanical problems, driving design rigor, and building best-in-class hardware. You’ll play a key part in shaping our technology and supporting the growth of both the team and the company, without the heavy administrative focus that comes with a traditional director-level role. If you're eager to take on challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment we’d love to hear from you!
